When you are signed in, the documents you add are stored on our servers so they are available across your devices, including Apple Watch, and so features such as search and sharing can work. We also store information derived from them, such as page images and extracted text.
Earlier versions of this app kept documents only on the device, and earlier versions of this policy said so. This section replaces that statement.
You can delete a document at any time from within the app, which removes it and anything derived from it. Deleting your account removes all of them.
Some features work by sending text from your documents to third-party providers of large language models, which return the result shown in the app. This applies to documents used with those features. Under our agreements with those providers, your content is not used to train their models.
Results you generate, and messages you send in a chat about a document, are stored with that document so you can return to them, and are deleted with it.
To keep improving our services, iWatch PDF Viewer uses Google Analytics to analyze which type(photo, camera, scan and text) of PDF our users use the most. We do not store user personal information.
iWatch PDF Viewer offers optional account sign-in (using Apple, Google, or Email) to enable app features such as cloud sync, sharing, premium entitlements, and device-to-device transfer. When you sign in, we collect and store your email address (or the Apple private relay address you choose to share) and a unique user identifier through Firebase Authentication.
We use your email address for the following purposes:
We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third-party advertisers. Email delivery may be processed by trusted service providers (such as Firebase, SendGrid, or similar email service providers) solely on our behalf. If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, communications will be delivered through Apple's private relay service.
You may delete your account and associated email address at any time from within the app, or by contacting us through the in-app support feature.
We use a small number of established service providers, acting on our behalf and bound by agreements with us, for: hosting and storage, sign-in, databases, push notifications, crash reporting, analytics, large language models, subscription management, in-app support, and advertising measurement. Payment is handled by Apple; we never receive your payment details.
You are asked for permission before any tracking for advertising, and declining does not affect the app. We do not sell your personal data.
iWatch PDF Viewer does not have links or promotion to 3rd party apps other than apps from Kalyani Bhimavarapu.
Documents are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored by Google Cloud, which encrypts them at rest. Access is restricted to your own account: our servers check on every request that the document belongs to you.
Deleting the app from your device removes what is stored on the device. It does not delete documents already synced to your account — use Delete in the app, or delete your account, for that.
